As an added bonus the path ends at the park :) The girls love the slide. I didn't catch it with the camera but they both climbed up to and then successfully went down the big curly slide on their own. Over, and over oh yeah and over again. At 9pm we called it a night and the girls fell asleep as soon as their heads hit the bed. Oh how I love these summer days.

Learning and Growing
Anyone who has little ones, and especially anyone who has multiples knows they don't always listen and follow directions... and they move quickly and usually in opposite directions. So unfortunately we don't get out as much as some singleton toddlers. I just am not physically capable of running in two directions at once (I'm working on it :) so trips to the park or even stroller free walks outside become a little bit of a challenge. I'm not willing to risk them running out into traffic just so we can enjoy the sunshine. Anywho... there is a cute little trail through the woods near our house where we like to take walks in evening when Craig is home. Recently we have been teaching the girls to stay on the path and they are doing great following directions!
Breakfast
You may not all be as amused by breakfast as I am but it's the most important meal of the day, right? I was just amazed this morning by how big the girls looked. We bought a new (larger) table recently and little booster seats for the girls - which we all LOVE.
Some mornings they are sweeter than a donut!
So, just imagine you are sleepy and not sure if you are ready to greet the morning. Then you get to dine with this:

Happy Birthday Girls!
Last week the girls turned two! What?! Where did my babies go and who replaced them with these spunky little opinionated girls? The girls sure do know how to time sicknesses... they were sick on Christmas and battled a cold on their birthday. We had big plans of birthday parties and trips to the zoo but we ended up just hanging out at home letting the girls get plenty of rest. We did manage to snag a couple of smiles.
We started off their birthday with whipped cream covered, chocolate chip waffles. mmmmm...

I found a great deal on this ball pit a few months ago and have been hoping the girls would like it as much as I imagined. Luckily, they love it and the balls stay relatively contained.

We took the girls out for lunch on Sunday for some balloons and brownie sundaes. Yum!
I'm sure you've all heard me talk about my big brother who is an airman in the USAF and is also currently deployed to Afghanistan. Well, he sent the girls these cute pink camo outfits. Awesome guy right?
I don't think Georgia is sure about how she looks in camo... I think she's pretty adorable.

So it wasn't a perfect birthday celebration but we made the best of it and still had some fun.
