Coordinating Christmas plans this year was made a little more interesting by our upcoming addition to the family. As I am nearing the end of my pregnancy my doctor would not ok me traveling outside of the Grand Rapids area... soooo we had everyone over to celebrate with us here!
Craig's family came over Christmas Eve to ring in the Christmas festivities!
Chris & Liz gave the girls these adorable cribs/highchairs for their baby dolls. They love them! They also love climbing in them and babying one another... let me tell you this is not what the manufacturer had in mind. :)
The girls were of course spoiled rotten with lots of toys and clothes by Grandma & Grandpa.
I love this picture of the girls with Uncle Chris. As you can see Madelyn was totally into the dress up clothes... including the "puppy pajamas" she hijacked from Georgia.
Chris & Liz brought their adorable dog Frank along for the fun, or "Fankie" as he is lovingly referred to here. Frank was feeling very affectionate towards Charlie... haha. I think it was love at first sight.
The girls partied and played and eventually crashed out for a late nap.
Chris and Liz are currently expecting their first little one this April and we are so excited for them! Liz and I were having a little pregnancy conversation before they took off for the night. We can't wait to meet their little lady this spring.... that's right, the girls will have to share their present haul with two more little girls next year.
Thanks again guys for driving out to see us and celebrate.... and for all the wonderful gifts!
